A huge remodel and space optimisation work was done in this 90 square meters apartement near Opéra, Paris. In order to maximise the existing natural light, the main rooms have been rethought around the three french doors. The bedroom has been transformed into the living room and the kitchen has been opened up. This healped creating a great live in space. The kitchen island, with its marbled top, highlights the conviviality and modernity of this apartment.
The painted medium bookcases have been custom designed to incorporate the structural post. Oak leaves were also placed inside the compartments, asserting the uniqueness of this library.
The black hexagonal tiles, the retro faucet and the walk-in shower give the bathroom a sophisticated feel, while the intricate white tiles harmoniously recalls the credence found in the kitchen. In continuity with the design of the bathroom, the W.C features a black and white floor tiles from "Revoir Paris" and a flamingo wallpaper from "Cole & Son".
The remodel, developed by the Sebastien Markoc agency, has been completed by Mittel.
